EYFS Balance Bike Training

Nursery and Reception children really enjoyed their balance bike sessions this month. They were so excited for their first session some children even ran all the way to school!

The children took part in two sessions where they either developed existing bike skills or had a turn on a balance bike for the first time. They did laps of the playground developing coordination and balance skills as well as learning to negotiate objects in their path. The children ended with a series of races which they all enjoyed. The children really showed our trust wide aspire character values during their sessions. They were resilient, responsible and respectful to others. They encouraged their friends to succeed and continued even when it was pouring with rain!
