Wow, just wow!

What a buzz there was in year 4 on Wednesday! Each of our pupils attended the Unboxing Event for their brand new iPads and they were thrilled! Our pupils loved learning all about their new devices and setting them up ready for this academic year. They signed into their Google accounts, took some selfies and learnt how their teachers can control all of their devices. By the end of the launch, they were eager to use their iPads in class, as well as their new iPad keyboards. We can not wait to see how digital technology engages our pupils in their learning, supports them with their whole class curriculum and unlocks students' academic and personal potential. Mrs Oakley

There was a real buzz around the iPad unboxing. The children couldn't wait to get their hands on the iPads and begin learning in a digital way. Some were so excited because they had never owned their own iPad before, and their faces said it all when they opened them. Beaming smiles and laughs of elation filled the hall. There was an extra level of excitement in Year 4 this week as children were introduced to a new and innovative way of learning. The look on the children's faces as they were unboxing their iPads was priceless and it was a real WOW moment in their primary experience.
