National Space Centre Trip - Year 5

Year 5 have been blown away by our trip to the National Space Centre!!! It was a huge success and the children loved it. Despite having a slightly longer journey than planned, Year 5 had the opportunity to watch an incredible planetarium show all about astrology and the Solar System, linking back to our Ancient Greece Theme; a chance to participate in an excellent workshop all about the Earth, Moon and Sun, where they created rotators related to the phases of the moon; and even toured the museum finding out all about life in Space. It was fabulous to see how interested the pupils were to learn about Space and Solar System, interacting with all of the exciting technology and artefacts available to study.
